In that TV drama, the teenage daughter berated her mother and cursed at her selfishness. The mother endured and listened. After the teenager left the room, her mother packed the lunch-box for her daughter. I marveled at the teenager’s good fortune. No matter how selfish she thinks her mother is, she actually have motherly love around her. She lives in happiness yet she is unaware. Years later, after she becomes an adult and fends for her own life, she may know how much love she used to have. Today, as I look over the Pacific Ocean thinking of my mother thousands of miles away, I realized how much I miss her love. Like that teenage, I rebelled and complained when I was at home. I never knew I was so much cared for. Only now I know.
