The Importance of democracy

In the short 8 years of losing democracy (when E-voting machines selects a president against the will of people), the United States is fast deterioriating in terms of wealth, people, funding for future development. A country that is used to be the envy of the world, is now mired in the deep budget decifit, mass poverty, mass deaths and injuries from the war, and restriction on citizen’s rights.

Now imagine a country that is totally without democracy. How much better it can be by just introducing democracy?

While democracy is not the cause of economic growth, it is definitely the cause of equalty and free flow of informaiton. In a democratic society, the good ideas will triumph and reforms can be conducted as soon as possible.

How can we preserve the democracy of the United States? How can we revive this giant that has been the beacon of the world in the last 200 years?

if truly democracy is the government of people, then americans are in the right position to preserve and revive their “falling, bogus” democracy. I do not think that the americans have seen any reason for that

  8. only switzerland has democracy. election is not democracy, it is civil war with ballots replacing spears. the duke of one party calls his spearmen to the field, his opponent does too, they count spears, and the one with most spears is king, for a while.

in a democracy, the people decide the major questions of civic activity, and hire clerks to do the routine work, in public, under published rules.

use of the word ‘democracy’ symbolizes submission to the rule of politicians, acceptance of their lies, retirement from public duty.

the people can take their nation from the politicians with a little effort, but they are not ‘citizen’ quality. they are content to be cows, as long as the masters don’t attack them personally. so, one by one, they are used and discarded.
